As a designer, I could totally understand the characters and their choice. It is always a balance that gives others what they want to see and what we want to express.

A small detail that I like very much is that after the protagonist got angry at the demander Ma Shanshan, another company member told them that without Ma Shanshan, they would have been kicked out of the company long ago. Sometimes people who are strict in front of us may have silently helped us behind the scenes. But everyone may have their own positions. And ofc, positions will influence perspectives.

The end of the movie is quite interesting. In a perfect AI-led writing environment, their works are considered to be the most complete preserved human writing and are treasured. Because of imperfection, it becomes unique.
