This is really a movie with a horrifying middle part!
I appreciate some of the ideas conveyed in this film, such as the importance of treating and caring for a kidnapped little girl as an equal; recognizing the courage needed to reconnect with one's inner child when realizing something is amiss; and honoring commitments and promises to oneself and others, even in the face of danger.
I am somewhat puzzled by the male protagonist's sudden transformation into a malicious vampire towards the female protagonist after becoming a vampire. In contrast, the little girl, who has been a vampire for many years, has managed to maintain her warmth and empathy, and her unwavering commitment to promises is astonishing.
The detail of the little girl reaching out her finger to make a pinky promise with the female protagonist during a moment of danger is truly touching. On one hand, it demonstrates the child's deep commitment to keeping promises, and on the other hand, it reveals her intense longing for love, protection, and care.
Children are often associated with innocence, while ballet is a symbol of beauty and elegance. However, when these elements are combined with vampirism, the resulting character becomes multifaceted and complex, transcending simplistic stereotypes.
